On August 21, 2015 three Americans, Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, and Spencer Stone received international acclaim when they thwarted a terrorist attack aboard a Paris-bound train. The three were in the midst of traveling through Europe, and were hailed as heroes for their act of bravery.
