DDay Observance at Nationals Stadium

On June 6th the American Veterans Center helped the Washington Nationals organize a tribute to D-Day veterans in honor of the 70th anniversary of the end of the war in Europe. Other World War II Veterans joined for a total of two dozen veterans and family members.

The veterans were guests of honor at the game and were allowed to go onto the field before the game and chat with Nationals Players. Here are photos from the game.
