Alan Lukens and the Liberation of Dachau
Alan Lukens, World War II veteran of the 20th Armored Division, saw combat towards the end of the war in the European Theater. While en route to Munich, Lukens and his men came across a Concentration Camp in Dachau, Germany. He and his men helped liberate the camp – an experience he would never forget.
