William Peacock
William Peacock
U.S. Navy Veteran William Peacock witnessed much naval action in the European theater of the Second World War. Aboard LST 357, Peacock took part in the invasion of Sicily and Normandy, as well as several missions traveling back and forth between Italy and North Africa. His military career would continue beyond World War II, where he would go on to become a Captain.
