Marine Corps veteran of Korea and Vietnam, former chief military correspondent for The New York Times and Director of the National Security Program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, military analyst for NBC, and co-author of several books including the recently-published The Endgame: The Inside Story of the Struggle for Iraq, from George W. Bush to Barack Obama.
