General Peter Pace – Part I

General Peter Pace, 16th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, began his military career as a young officer serving on the front lines in Vietnam. His life – and his service – were forged through combat, and the loss of Marines who died serving alongside him. From that point on, he was determined to live his life in a way that paid respect to the way they gave theirs. This is Part 1 in a series sharing the story of his military experience.
