The National Memorial Day Choral Festival

The National Memorial Day Choral Festival is fast becoming a tradition in the nation’s capital. Co-sponsored by Music Celebrations International and the American Veterans Center.The festival is held in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall the Sunday before Memorial Day and features a 300-voice choir, drawn from all parts of the nation and accompanied by the US Army or Air Force Orchestra. The lead conductor is Dr. Craig Jessop,  former director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. A sell-out audience thrills to such  classics as “Fanfare for the Common Man,” “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” and  “The God who Gave us Life, Gave Us Liberty.” Don’t miss out on a moving and riveting concert!
